Curry County Seniors Scholarship Program


ATTENTION ALL CURRY COUNTY GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

As the end of the school year is fast approaching, many of you are planning for your future educational endeavors.

Curry Anadromous Fisherman (CAF) are currently accepting applications for (3) $1,500 scholarships to be awarded to students that qualify.

  • Qualified students will be attending one of the three high schools (Brookings, Gold Beach, and Port Orford) or be home-schooled in Curry County.

  • To qualify a student needs to have completed all the requirements of the Educational Service District

  • Be eligible for enrollment in an accredited college, university or trade school

  • Possess an accumulated GPA of at least 2.0

  • Complete the application and required essay.

Any student wanting to submit an application for consideration needs to speak with their high school guidance counselor for paperwork, details, and deadline information.

CAF is a nonprofit corporation that operates and maintains the Indian Creek Hatchery in Gold Beach. The major goal of the Indian Creek Hatchery is to supplement the natural production of lower Rogue River Fall Chinook salmon. 

CAF is honored to have the opportunity to support the future leaders, innovative scientists, dedicated community members, and passionate volunteers who will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and prosperity of our region in the years to come.
